The science behind it is probably a better environment . For a better environment we need clean oxygen without pollution, but our world is getting polluted because there are many cars traveling around, which is increasing the amount of pollution in the air that we breath in, it can cause many health issues like asthma. So if we encourage others to walk, scooter or bike to one place to another, it would decrease the amount of cars and provide us with a better environment to breath in.
Travel Wise is a NZ program for schools, this program informs people about road safety. The Travel Wise Program is aiming to improve road safety and achieve a reduction in the number of vehicles driving to and from school at peak times.
